Get your American Graffiti fix with street rods, pre and post-WWII cars and trucks. Twenty-eight classes of trophies will be awarded to the participating car owners at 1 p.m. Awards for Best in Show and Best Paint also presented. Dozens of antique and classic cars are expected. Get up-close looks and make keepsake photos of the vehicles that sparked the imagination of generations of Americans! Dog Days of Summer Pet Rest Stop NEW!
10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Commercial Bank, 215 E. Main St.
Are your dogs barkin’?  Cool them off at the CBTx Dog Days of Summer Pet Rest Stop!  Your leashed pet can take a sip of fresh water, gulp down a yummy treat, and relax on the cool marble floor.  All the while, you can cool your heels and enjoy free bottled water, air conditioning and games!

Fredonia Hill Baptist Church - 1711 South Street. Open Friday, June 13 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, June 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entrance fee: $5 - good for both days.

8 a.m. - Noon Durst-Taylor Historic House and Gardens at 304 North Street. Tour the ongoing excavation and the historic home and grounds that include a blacksmith shop, smokehouse and sugar cane mill.

  • Arts and crafts - free make-and-take activities 
     
  • Bounce Park - Giant inflatables for giggles and spills. Also includes the Rock Climbing Wall. (Individual tickets $2, arm-bands $10) Sponsored by Huntington State Bank
  • Too Blue Petting Zoo - The East Texas Horse Rescue and Sanctuary hosts a petting zoo with horses, ponies, goats, mini horses, llamas, dogs and baby ducks and chicks. Photos with mini-horses and pony rides available for a nominal fee.  Nacogdoches Animal Shelter will bring adoptable animals.
  • Big Blue Murals - We're looking for artists short and tall to complete our murals! Come to the grassy banks of Banita Creek in Festival Plaza.Sponsored by Consolidated Communications and Sam's Club.
      
  • Cool Zone - Water misters and cool fans! Sponsored by Nacogdoches Medical Center.
